Before treatment can commence, a diagnosis must be provided by a neurologist, psychologist, or pediatrician. Certain insurance plans, such as Medicaid, also necessitate an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Once a diagnosis has been established, reach out to a local ABA provider. Check to see if they accept your insurance.
Once the call is completed, a member of our team will reach out to you to arrange an appointment for an assessment after insurance sends us authorization.
Once the assessment is completed, the BCBA will forward the report to you for review. After you give your approval, the report will be submitted to the insurance company.
Once the insurance approves the report, we can begin services! A phone call will be made to arrange the first ABA appointment.

Creative Waves ABA recognizes how important daily living skills are for autistic children. Our goal is to help your child become as independent as possible, setting a strong foundation for their future success. We also focus on developing social skills, which are essential for meaningful connections and overall growth.
Hilary Cavaness earned her BCBA credential in 2019 after completing her master's degree at National University in Costa Mesa, California, where she accumulated her BCBA hours working within the Santa Ana School District. Since entering the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2014, she has positively impacted the lives of many
children on the autism spectrum. Her professional experience spans various environments, including schools, clinics, in-home settings, and telehealth. She was ultimately drawn to ABA by witnessing the significant progress achieved by her families and clients.
