Creative Waves ABA works with children from ages 2-15 years of age.
Creative Waves ABA will send an explanation of benefits to your e mail and inform you of patient responsibility before starting services. You can also go to your insurance provider for a better understanding into payment for services.
Creative Waves ABA will evaluate your child and provide you with recommendations. If you're interested in private pay options, please contact us. The fees for parent training and ABA therapy sessions range from $68 to $80 per hour, depending on the specific services billed.
Depending on the insurance, we can also extend our services into the community. Therapy isn’t limited to just home settings; we can offer services in preschool environments if the conditions permit. Before delivering services outside the home, the BCBA assigned to the case will assess the clinical appropriateness and verify if it’s covered by insurance. Currently, Creative Waves ABA does not operate a clinic.

ABA focuses on understanding the underlying reasons for a child’s behaviors, and by uncovering these reasons, we can work to reduce them. ABA is effective in addressing a variety of behaviors, including aggression, self-injury, echolalia, visual stereotypes, mouthing, and more.
The weekly hours of ABA therapy with Creative Waves ABA can range from 14 to 30, based on the recommendations of the BCBA. Several factors are considered when determining the appropriate amount of ABA hours. The ABA team also takes into account any other activities the child is engaged in. For instance, if the child attends school full time, it would be inappropriate to recommend 30 hours of ABA per week.
Progress is assessed through data collection, which occurs during your child's sessions. The BCBA and/or RBT will gather data based on your child's specific programs. This progress is reviewed every six months during the reauthorization process with the insurance company.
Creative Waves ABA LLC collaborates with schools, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other service providers to ensure success.
A clinician will inform you about the appropriate level of parental involvement in the session, which varies based on the specific program and the child’s needs. Conducting sessions at home can be advantageous, as it allows you to observe the strategies the team is implementing and learn how to reinforce these techniques outside of ABA sessions. Additionally, parent training will be offered to ensure the child’s success both during and after ABA sessions.
